A milestone in safety excellence

On 2 November 2024, EnviroServ’s Moses Dhlamini – onsite supervisor for the Vaal and Kroonstad areas – and his dedicated team achieved a significant safety milestone: 17 years without a lost time injury (LTI). This outstanding achievement underscores their steadfast commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards in a challenging and demanding work environment.

Over the years, Dhlamini and his crew have successfully navigated numerous obstacles, from planned shutdowns to harsh road conditions, all while upholding a zero-compromise approach to safety. Their ability to consistently operate without incident reflects the culture of safety they’ve built.

“17 years without an LTI is a remarkable testament to the professionalism, discipline, and teamwork of Moses and his crew,” says Esme Gombault, EnviroServ’s group technical director. “Their achievement proves that safety is not just a policy, but a way of working every day. We are incredibly proud of their continued commitment to operational excellence.”

Dhlamini, his team, and their achievements continue to inspire and set the standard for safety excellence across EnviroServ.
