Showa, a global provider of hand and arm protection, has announced the launch of its latest glove line, MFT Pro. Built with a recently-developed microfibre liner, the new gloves enhance worker comfort and wearability by allowing moisture and sweat to evaporate quickly to prevent irritation and chafing.
The MFT Pro technology builds on Showa’s history of innovation, including the first PVC, disposable nitrile, and biodegradable single-use glove. “By introducing MFT Pro, we’re leveraging the trust we’ve built to enhance glove performance and expand our range of hand protection options,” explains Tony Lynch, the company’s VP for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The new range, which is reusable and machine washable, includes four general-purpose gloves: the 264, 344, 374, and 381. All incorporate the microfibre liner, but are available with various types of coating for different applications. These include natural rubber, PU flat nitrile, and microporous nitrile.
“At Showa, we are dedicated to transforming users’ expectations for glove performance,” Lynch says. “Showa’s MFT Pro line builds on the original 381 model, and we are confident it will set new standards for comfort in the workplace.”
The company plans to announce additional product lines later this year, featuring advanced technologies engineered for comfort, safety, and sustainability.
