Faster equipment inspections with SafeTrak

Wondering how to speed up paper-based equipment inspections? Planning, inspecting and reporting can be streamlined, customised and largely automated to save time. Discover the SafeTrak software and app from Brady.

SafeTrak enables you to keep track of inspections digitally and eliminates the need to make time-consuming duplicates, decipher hasty handwriting or search for lost inspection papers. At the same time, the web application also includes an advanced inspection-planning system that offers a full overview of every inspection planned and enables users to easily plan recurring inspections.

SafeTrak can also be used to keep track of a wide range of equipment, such as personal protection equipment, drills, hammers, screwdrivers, scaffolding, ladders, label printers or lockout bags. With SafeTrak, every tool can easily be checked in or out as long as it is labelled with a serial number, barcode or RFID label.

Automated reporting

Predefined inspection templates can be created in SafeTrak to standardise and digitalise a variety of inspection reports. It can generate automated high-level reports by extracting data from the inspection templates at regular intervals or on demand. With just a few clicks, inspection reports containing the most recent and complete data will always be available via SafeTrak.

SafeTrak on the go

The SafeTrak Mobile App can easily be accessed in the field on any smartphone and Internet access is not required. Enter an equipment serial number to access a predefined inspection template and equipment location information, or scan the equipment’s barcode. Log out after an inspection and the app will automatically upload data for immediate reporting once the internet connection is restored.

Fire door inspections

You can also efficiently plan and manage fire door inspections with Brady’s SafeTrak Fire Door Inspection Management module and stay compliant with regulations.

  • Stay compliant: plan fire door inspections with three-month or custom intervals, use a step-by-step fire door inspection template in the field that supports compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order;
  • Inspect efficiently: scan your asset label on the correct fire door to activate the planned fire door inspection on a smartphone or tablet in the field; and
  • Report automatically: share a customisable report automatically on inspection completion.

Fast, paperless asset safety inspections

A large chemical processing plant was keeping a paper record of asset inspections. With thousands of ladders, handrails and floor gratings on the list of assets that need regular safety inspection, the paper trail became exceedingly complex and managing it was time-intensive.

The plant was already using Brady’s Unitag to communicate which assets were inspected, and deemed safe, or out of use. To keep employees safe and the facility compliant in an efficient way, a solution was needed to replace time-consuming handwritten inspection reports. Read how Brady has helped them to easily manage thousands of asset inspections.
