PSA Africa well received at A-OSH Expo

PSA Africa, a leading safety equipment supplier in gas detection, respiratory protection, and substance abuse monitoring systems, has exhibited at A-OSH Expo for over 10 years. This year’s show didn’t disappoint, as its products grabbed a lot of attention.

“The main benefit of this show is to meet and connect with new potential clients, and showcase our product range. We could also connect with existing clients who are hard to see regularly due to the vast distances the team must travel daily,” says Matthew Nagan, PSA Africa inland division category sales manager. “The expo is a way to meet different kinds of people in one location. Because they are able to touch and feel our products, visitors can also appreciate what sets them apart.”

The company focused on its range of MSA specialised safety equipment, including respiratory, self-contained breathing apparatus, fall protection, firefighting gear, confined space equipment, gas detection, and its locally manufactured hard hats. “While the whole product range was well received, the Workman Tripod (ideal for rescue work in confined spaces and simplifying vertical descents), our locally manufactured Hero hard hats, and the MSA Bristol firefighting suit drew the most attention,” Nagan relates.

“The MSA Bristol firefighting protective clothing is designed to ergonomically fit the wearer, reduce bulk throughout the garment, and minimise the weight carried by firefighters,” he continues. “Its unique safety features include an integrated rescue sling and drag rescue device (DRD) system.”

This year’s expo allowed PSA Africa to get its products in front of its target audience. “This was the perfect chance to showcase our brand, boost our business image, and gain exposure. We met many potential customers and walked away with a solid base of sales leads,” Nagan enthuses. He adds that PSA Africa will most likely exhibit again next year, noting: “A-OSH Expo helps you to stay up to date, see what’s new and how the industry is changing, and learn about new products and resources.”
